Death by Glitter - Manicure

Today I have another gorgeous manicure to show you all. I call it Death by Glitter. It encompasses a gorgeous purple glitter, a stunning gold  glitter,  and matte black accents. 

I personally used the following products, but you can use whatever polish you have on hand that are similar in color to the ones I used to recreate the look.

Purple Love! - Manicure

So, today I finally had the time to start and finish a manicure design. Both of these gorgeous purples are from Sinful Colors Mod in Bloom collection. The pastel purple is called Mad About Hue and the deep purple is called GoGo Boots. The chunky Mylar I used on my middle finger is from the Dollar Tree, it's a pearly lavender. I used a black stripe to outline my thumb and ring finger which made the deep purple pop even more.

This store is one of my favorites to buy nail art supplies from. They have an amazing selection and their prices are affordable, so whenever I have extra money to spend I head to this site and treat myself to some nail goodies.

Dual Forms- Ebay.

Today I recieved the dual forms for doing acrylic nails. I was excited to get them because they seemed like an easier way to create acrylic nails. When I opened the package I was disappointed, some of the forms were dirty and the largest size did not fit my thumbnails.

I contacted the buyer and hope to return these forms and get my money back so I can go ahead and buy the more expensive set of dual forms from either pronails or ASP.

Lesson learned: don't be cheap, spend a little more and get a quality product.

Holy Acrylic Batman!! - Ebay acrylic kit unboxing!

Hello loves,  it's Lauren here once again. I'm here with an unboxing of my first ever acrylic kit! Super excited, I've been wanting to explore acrylics for awhile now, but always thought of it as an expensive venture, and welllll, I'm on a student's budget. So I went on a hunt for an inexpensive acrylic starter kit and opted for a no name brand kit off of eBay for $20. Only downside was the wait time(almost a month!).

Anyways let's get down to business!
